Ulster Architectural Heritage Society

UAHS is a voluntary organisation founded in 1967. It promotes appreciation of built heritage and its regenerative potential. It publishes books and maintains the Built Heritage at Risk Register in partnership with the NIEA. The society also runs a programme of events and runs the ‘Home and Dry’ series which highlights best practice in the care and repair of historic buildings for owners and practitioners.

Ulster Architectural Heritage Society

Hearth is the longest established and most prolific building preservation trust in Northern Ireland and has developed an unprecedented record of restorations ranging from single small houses to medium sized public buildings, many having been rescued from severe dereliction. As a housing association it manages around a hundred houses and flats across the province.
